It took 2 years, but I published a book!

I’m thrilled to share that my book, Beating the Algorithm, has officially been published today by Penguin Random House SEA.

A project two years in the making, it distills over two decades of my entrepreneurial journey—the experiments, the failures, the breakthroughs, and the life lessons that shaped me.

The truth is, the entrepreneurial path is far from glamorous.

It is a series of trials and errors, punctuated more often by missteps than triumphs. Yet mainstream narratives tend to spotlight only the shiny outcomes—glossing over the bruises, the doubt, the nights we question everything.

This doesn’t serve dreamers.

It doesn’t prepare them for the road less travelled — a road lined with hidden traps that can take years to recover from.

I’ve been fortunate to come out (mostly) intact. Many don’t.

That’s why I wrote this book.

My hope is simple: that more dreamers survive, then thrive.

That more people get to do meaningful work, wake up excited, and be rewarded for the value they create.

By telling my story candidly— warts and all— I hope readers can learn from the expensive mistakes I made and navigate their own journeys with greater clarity and resilience.

To all the dreamers out there: may you beat the algorithm.

Beating the Algorithm is now available (16 December 2025) in all major bookstores across Singapore and Malaysia.

The Kindle edition is available globally, and international orders (including Australia and New Zealand) can be made via Amazon.
