Serial Entrepreneur

Born into a family of business people, I was inspired early on to seek the path of entrepreneurship. My first business, I started in my 1st year of University, at the London School of Economics. My most successful, right out of university, I ran for 13 years. I’ve had my share of failures as well in between though, and here you will learn about them too.

    Void Deck is a transdisciplinary content collaborator that specializes in elevating the art experience in Singapore, Southeast Asia, and Greater China, through multi-channel partnerships with brands, artists, and communities.

  • Rutosocial (2019 – present) Boutique Social Media Agency

    RutoSocial is a boutique social media agency founded by Yang Huiwen, Wendy Cheng aka Xiaxue and myself.

  • WorkXPlay (2018 to present) Social Media and Technology Incubator

     

    WorkXPlay comprises a small, dynamic, impactful team of specialists working to bring exciting and monetizable tech based projects to life.

  • Dayre (Subsidiary of Netccentric)(2013 – 2018) Mobile Blogging App

    Dayre is a mobile blogging app.

  • Jipaban.com (2010-2012) E-Commerce

    Jipaban.com was an e-commerce shopping mall with social networking elements built in.

  • Netccentric (Nuffnang, ChurpChurp, Reelity.TV)(2006-2020) Social Media Advertising

    The Netccentric Group which I led, as CEO,  pioneered the concept of blog advertising and social media talent management (through Nuffnang and Churpchurp) in Asia Pacific. It grew from a 4 person startup into a multi regional company with over 200 staff, 9 office locations, and was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2015.

  • Gadgeit.com (2005-2006) E-commerce

    Gadgeit.com was my first business venture I started with 4 friends. We ran it as we were studying in University. An e-commerce store selling gadget and gift options for guys, it was my first taste of success.
